It depends on your age, if you are under 40, it is very unlikely colon cancer. Almost impossible unless there is some family backround.
It could very well be some type of gastrointestinal disease though, like Crohns or Colitis. Main symptoms of these is bloody stools accompanied by stomach pains, etc...
PS-Pre-med backround speaking here. But gave it up, couldn't handle the blood
