its really depressing around my house this christmas.
my dad is a painting contractor and hasnt picked up any work in what seems like months. my mom busts her ass at work full time and then works a ton of overtime on top of that and we still can't pay the bills. I work a full time job at 18, instead of going to school, so i can help the family out as much as i can. its rough and the paychecks definitely dont come often enough.
we've all basically come to terms with the fact that our christmas this year will be shit. no one has any money to buy gifts so we can cheer each other up. we put up our holiday lights a few days after thanksgiving and still havent turned them on yet because it will raise the electricity bill.
someone cheer me up.
