The reasoning is simple: this isn't an excercise in theoretical ethics - it's an existing reality. They didn't know she was going to be born the way she was. Well - she was. And if you watch the video, she interacts, and obviously enjoys and demands human contact and affection. There is an individual there.

It's very easy to sit back in an armchair and say "You should have killed her." But unless you've walked a mile in their shoes, you're really just spouting off with no reality to back it up.

When I watched the video, I had a series of reactions:

A. Initial horror.
B. Then I watched her running around, and reaching out to be hugged, and I thought she was pretty cute.
C. Then, (B) made me sad.

My final reaction? Send a little money.

Not sit back in my comfortable life with my normal child and say "In my esteemed and learned opinion, you should kill that thing. It's best for her. I know, because, well - those who speak from an ivory tower know best."

As for those who posted 'circus' threads and other BS - go back to killing small animals or jacking off to rape scenes, or whatever else it is that sociopaths do.
