I Need a Banner Rotator: Preferably, one that records stats, but whatever...

    I'm going with the standard 468 x 60 banners.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance!

I asked that same question last night and PowerCum sent me this

    http://www.phpadsnew.com

I've just finished the install and now have to learn how to use the damn thing. It's seems to be killer!! I just wanted to rotate some banners, but this does it all..

    Check it out -

I love phpAds. Check out http://www.primanudes.com

The top and bottom banners are served by phpAds. On the main page, you'll see it rotates through all the banners for that site.

When you click into a category, the ads now match that category. Same for albums.

It's kind of a bitch to get used to, but once you figure out the relationships between advertisers, publishers, zones and banners, it's totally cool.

You can invoke the banners in several different ways, making it flexible as hell.

If you try it, I'd suggest you set up one advertiser, one publisher, and one zone to start with. Use "remote javascript" invocation until you read up on the others.

                    Have fun!

                      Hey,

I did get the first banners up tonight. It did take a bit of reading and a few hours to start to understand WTF the program is talking about, but it's going to be killer..
see sig for the sample - I have 3 top banners rotating.

But that's not even a fraction of what this thing does.. Stats out the ass - like I need more as a new webmaster - Fuck. This script will allow other publishers and partners to add banners to your site for money -- BTW AD space on Intertwat.com for sell -- I get at least 500 hits a day!! $500 a Month

Maybe one day.. But if you really want a simple script, sorry I can't offer one I've used. Just search the PHP Banners. I got the same "nice" suggestion as you did, actually, this being my first Unix/Apache server it really helped. I was only looking for cgi on my ASP/CGI free script pages.

Use phpadsnow - I can't beleive this shit is free. I keep refreshing to see the hidden ads or skim - none yet :-)

It's the top We Live together banner - it shows 3 different banners. I see it working. It's set to 33% each banner and not a 123 rotate. Please check again and let me know if it's not working.

                          Thanks

                            I'd also suggest trying phpadsnew.

It's free to use and is loaded with a lot of different stats and features for your ad rotation.

                            good luck to you
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                              I wrote one myself.

Uses php, It simply takes a line from a txt file and places it on the site. Each line on the text file being a href tag.

I used PHPadsnew while creating this site:
                                http://www.locators.com.

It is a kick ass program. I highly recomend it.
