Maybe there was enough demand to keep it around. I prefer the Pepsi Vanilla a bit better, but this Black Cherry Vanilla is tasty.

Tastes almost as nasty as Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper. Why couldn't Coke keep Vanilla Coke in the market and why can't Dr Pepper come out with just vanilla Dr Pepper and not add this cherry shit. Don't get my wrong I like Cherry Coke but not mixed with vanilla.

I don't know why but it has always smelled of publicity stunt to me. It was selling really well in the UK so why take it away?

I have always wondered why the make someting, and put it for sale. the stores can not keep it on the shelf, and then they quit making it. Live the vanilla coke. I love that. Add in some vanilla vodka, and you have a great drink.

If you want black cherry soda you gotta get the real thing -- Dr. Brown's Black Cherry Soda -- best soda on the planet. Goes great with a nice corned beef sandwich on rye. yum.
