Chicks that you adore and look up to as "beautiful", like Paris Hilton or Julia Roberts or Gwen Stefani, we don't like that much. Women like Scarlett Johansson, on the other hand, is pretty much it for many men.

Uhmm.. I think you're talking about "tastes" and trying to tell someone that they should have your tastes because you think everyone else has your tastes.
That's not the case either which way you look at it. Some like her, some don't... some like bbw's, some don't.. some like goth, some don't. It's not a matter of culture dictating anything, or being a "real man"... it's a matter of what you like or don't like... period.
