disagree with both of you... i think this movie was ok... yes the casting of the kids could have been better.. hell see Harry Potter, they use british kids too and found some that works...
but over all the movie is true to the book as i remember it and i think they did some good CGI work on it etc... so worth a view but just remember the who the target audience is ...

For example: what did Peter, Susan, Lucy and Edmund do all those years in Narnia?
They were the only people. Surley they would get horny as hell after awhile. Some incest or bestiality seems inevitable.
While we're on the subject, what would happen if Susan and Peter concieved a child and led the child back through the wardrobe into the normal world? Peter and Susan would turn back into kids. Would the child turn back into a jizz glob? Also, would the jizz glob be located in Susan's uterus or would it trickle onto the ground? Would it be thick ropey jizz or would it be thin watery 12yo boy jizz?

Hahahaha I see you've put much thought into that!!! Some interesting points there!
Personally I enjoyed the movie and loved the book as a child.
the movie has been out for over a month and you just saw it now?? LOL
I saw the movie and it was great - as did the group of 15 people I went with for an evening out. You have to learn to relax a bit and stop taking life so seriously pretending to be a 'gang' member and be yourself if your going to enjoy it.

well dont forget that the christian nutz went, well nutz about this movie as it has many good christian values... so that i probably why they dont explain how they, the kids, kept their urges in check all those years...

the only word that sticks out in my mind about "Narnia" is underwhelming. I was disappointed. I know its earning a lot of coin due mostly to the Christian marketing machine employed by Disney, the same machine that propelled "The Passion" to the incredible levels that one reached. But also it is showing that the fantasy genre is still alive and well, which is good for future fantasy epics.
we need something again though along the lines of LOTR, more creme de la creme of fantasy movies. "Narnia" is more fluff-like.
one of the worst movies ever, I mean it. It was supposed to be another great movie, but it sucked big time. Even the special effects were bad, and I'm not even talking about the acting

My son loved it - he's 7 - and I wasn't too bored, so it's ok

With the budget they had, why in HELL would they use such shitty CGI for the lion? And the battle scene - you can see damn PIXELS!

man, I never noticed that! Pixels? And they used WETA too, the world's leaders in CGI. Just goes to show when you have to outsource and pay another company for CGI, you don't get near the quality because they charge you thru the nose and you can't AFFORD the quality. folks like Peter Jackson and Lucas save the best effects for themselves because they can go the extra mile because they own those companies.
I doubt any of you have read the books, so of course your dumb asses won't understad what's going on.
Exactly... CS Lewis is a well known Christian writer, and every book in the Narnia series is a purposeful biblical allegory.
I was impressed with how well the movie stuck to the book, even down to many of the characters lines. It was only missing the clever narration (common in movies made from books with smart dialogue/narration, see Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy).
