Does anyone own the new M5 bmw, and would you recommend on getting it. I have a 545i and thinking about trading it for the new m5.

Mine came in last week - absolutely amazing, make's my old M5 seem so antiquated! However, with the 550 (new 4.8 V8) I would probably buy a loaded version of that for $30,000.00 less unless you have tons of cash.

1. The SMG is orientated for performance, it's not a laid back cruising kind of box (7 speed)
2. It's 507 HP and you tend to use that all the time, this equates to two things - lots of speeding tickets and lousy gas mileage
