Parrot reveals affair
A man found out his girlfriend was cheating on him when his parrot said her lover's name.
Chris Taylor from Headingley, Leeds became suspicious when Ziggy squawked "Hiya Gary" when Suzy Collins' mobile rang.
The eight-year-old parrot also made kissing sounds whenever he heard the name Gary on TV.
Chris confronted Suzy, 25, his live-in girlfriend of two years and she told him: "I've got another man... named Gary."
Suzy revealed she had been cheating for four months reports The Sun.
Chris dumped her and gave Ziggy away as he was tormented by the bird constantly mentioning Gary.
Chris said: "After what Suzy did I wasn't sorry to see the back of her. But it really broke my heart to let Ziggy go.
"It was torture hearing him repeat Gary's name over and over again. It felt like I'd been stabbed through the heart. Ziggy was one in a million.
"He was a loyal friend and looking back I think he had been trying to tell me for weeks. He would shout 'Hiya Gary' in Suzy's voice whenever her mobile rang."
Suzy, who is no longer seeing Gary, said: "Chris would be the first to admit we'd been having problems. He spent more time talking to his bird than to me. I couldn't stand Ziggy and it looks now like the feeling was mutual."
