Johnny Depp is a tough guy to follow, he's played so many different roles... he definitely managed to avoid getting type-cast.. that's for sure.

Anyway, the movie looks pretty good... Tim Burton always comes up with the most twisted and yet amazing sets.

I think you don't understand, Tim Burton wanted to make sure that his movie would be much more darker and true to the book.

This is not a REMAKE of the movie you saw in the 70's.

It's a new vision, from the book.

OOMPA LOOMPAS are also in the book.

OOMPA LOOMPAS were not an invention for the movie in 1971.

That doesn't mean he can't use the same OOMPA LOOMPA songs..
