My dog, a big loveable pittbull, always twitches, and runs in his sleep (he doesnt get up and run but his legs make the motions). Sometimes he cries, and other times heis scared shitless. He has growled and moaned. My lab does the same thing. She'll cry and whimper really loud in her sleep while her legs look like they're kind of running. Sometimes she'll wake herself up with some brutally loud barks that scare the shit out of me.Originally posted by Diesel006

Sure do. One of my police dogs even did his whole facial snarl while sleeping once.
It was hilarious. And his back legs started going too, so he must have been dreaming he was doing a suspect pursuit.

for sure! my dog has made the weirdest howling noises while he's sleeping (when he's awake he's never made a noise even close to it!) when i poke him he doesn't wake up at all. Sometimes his legs move around like he's trying to run!

My dog does too.
I wake him up sometimes but I feel bad because I don't know if its a good dream or bad dream. You can kind of tell the way he looks at you. If he tries to go back to sleep so he can continue his dream, it was good.Comment
