Ouch, your logic hurts me.
Simple example:
Donny might have 100 partners, each sending 100 customers.
Donny gets 50% of 10,000 customers while the run of the mill partner gets 50% of 100 customers. Not too complicated.
Run of the mill dude lives in mom's basement.
