    waking up to fire alarms

    Just woke up. I wouldn't have, had the blaring nuclear blast warning movie-style fire alarms hadn't blared echoingly into my apartment. I was expecting the building to be burning down, but no... I have no idea what's going on. All I know is that when I look out into the corridor, I see a bunch of people standing in their PJ's looking back at me standing their in my PJ's. Hmmm...

    The sound is deafening.
