I'm regret to bump this thread, but my mom said the same to me when I was a teenager popping off to her.
I don't have children yet (yes, yet), but your post just frightened me a bit more. A bit more, I be frightened, that the "curse of mom" is not just an afternoon daily special about kissing causing pregnancy. But something much more frightening and possibly legitimate.
