Though Japan has no censorship laws, it does have those regarding obscenity.Before the line was drawn at pubic hair; anythingthing with it = obscene, and without it not so. Now that boundery is breached and you can find hirsute detail everywhere but...only in Japanese publication. All imported "porn' is scrubbed of pubes. The fact that one can see full frontal female nudity, but that the male organ remains digitalized is really just a reflection on the relative importance accorded men and women in that country.
