film is probably bigger than porn(waaay smaller than music) but not by much - the MPAA does an even better job of inflating their value in people's minds.

a piddly $8.4B in the box office. they make some money from rentals but it isn't clear from their site how much.

again keep in mind, they're also known to inflate their values.
