                          yes, absolutely! i'm also trying to get a dog that's not a brand new puppy and has less chance of being adopted, but still has a good chance of winning Halcyon's heart over. i'd love to adopt a health-issue dog but i don't think that'd be the way to start him on dogs, with a lot of work. there's gotta be one out there for us. we're taking our time to find the right pal, Halcyon just gave me the okay for a pug on my birthday in december. =)
