Man. I know your pain.
and fuck the non-allergic people who laugh at us
Allergies are a fucken desease. its a killer.
And the fucken "joke" is... Im allergic to my computer.
ITS FUCKEN TRUE!
The cooling vent, stirs up the dust in my room, I'm dying here.
I moved to sleep out of my room and things got better. For years I've been suffering without relating it to the computer.
Now I dont have morning allergie but whenever I enter my room to work on the computer it hits me again.
Its like a Lawyer allergic to lying and stabbing people in the back.
Fucken impossible.
I though about surgically removing my nose (I cant smell anyway)
I've had to deal with a dust allergy pretty much my entire life so I know how you feel!
I find that if I'm having a rather nasty attack, smoking a joint will calm it right down! It's only temporary relief, but it does work until your antihistamine kicks in... I wouldn't reccomend the combination if you actually have to be PRODUCTIVE at all...
I just can't wait to move to a more humid climate! That'll pretty much be a cure for me!
Originally posted by HowlingWulf I've been taking allergy shots for the last 6 months (I was real bad) and I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I highly recommend it.
Shots are definitely the way to go. I was on them for years before moving to the UK and had to take very few oral antihistimines. Can't get them here and somedays I wish that I could just take off my nose and go without it. I use claritin and find it works well but hate having to take tablets after years of not needing them.
I think the answer for me is to move to the mountains. The cool dry air seems to clear me right up.
Who knows, they can replace kidneys, hearts, livers, hips, knees, elbows, maybe one day they'll replace sinuses. You can bet I'll be on the list.
