    The Grand Canyon by Helicopter

    not afraid to fly? if not, save a couple hundred bucks and take a helicopter tour from las vegas to the grand canyon.

    a few days ago, the opportunity fell right into my lap and what a wonderful experience it was. flew over the populus city of las vegas, over lake meade and around the hoover damn. glided over a volcano that has not erupted in a million years and then onto the big dog....the grand canyon. just absolutely surreal. breathtaking. serene.

    we then landed at the bottom of the grand canyon (which is provided by the hualapai indians for a small fortune) and toasted to the surroundings by breaking open a bottle of champagne.

    on the trip back we hovered over the las vegas strip at sunset. sparkling like a million colored diamonds.

    in other words...IT WAS KICK ASS!

      that's a very cool trip - I did it last Jan in Vegas and really loved it.

      went with my brother, Legondary Lars and Sean, Worldsex, club severteen and a few other people. 2 choppers, we landed together and had a small lunchin in the canyon.

              How much approximately does it cost for a trip like this?

              I have been thinking of doing that when I got to Vegas next. I just rented a helicopter last week and flew over the waterfront and downtown core of Toronto. Very cool!

                                  We did the Vegas Strip / Grand Canyon by copter 2 years ago at Internext and took about 100 of our merchants too. I was a great time and everyone absolutely loved it. Of course, we were about 6 to a copter and there were 2 trips of 7 copters total. I would highly recommend it and would go the extra step and do the trip that lands inside as well for champagne and snacks too.

                                  I cannot remember the company that we used though right now.

                                                          Hey TeraBabes, cool pic. Do you see how the river was brown that day? Well, they told us that the river changes colors all the time. From brown to blue to bright turquoise. (guess from all the sediments) That's pretty interesting. I would love to see a blue or turqoise river.
