being able to aford the show isn't the issue really. we can afford the show jsut fine, but knowing what the result will be before you spend the money is where the skill is. i knew it was gonna be a cluster fuck. i also wanted to see my friends. had the show been what it was for the last two years, i woulda had at least a 20x20 booth, maybe a bigger one. i went on a shoestring budget purposely just to see the people that i enjoy spending my time with. didn't even step onto the showfloor once. why would i want to spend tons of money on a room that i don't even see until im too exhausted to go on running around vegas? just to sleep 2-3 hours. thankfully for me, my friends had my back and i stayed with them in the suite. i am still trying very hard to not believe that they don't care about the internet people. some of them do, like farley and susan, but i don't think everyone over there is paying attention to the internet people. this is not good. i know a little more about the show in march thing, but its not appropriate for me to go posting it here. all i know is i am glad i went with my gut and didn't commit to that huge booth that we were going to get.
