Question For All The Designers
I've recently signed up to some small niche programs.. And it suprises me that most don't even have banners. So my question is, what does it cost to get say 30 banners (in various sizes) and a couple FPAs and HPAs done up?

Although I'm sure the reason why most don't have banners is because they're too cheap to get any, I would rather suggest you see this as an opportunity. A well-crafted text link will outsell a banner 9 times out of 10.Whitehat is for chumps

I already use text links and various other things, even making some of my own banners sometimes... But the more you can put something in the face of the surfer the better it is.. it takes 3 times to imprint it on their mind... The point is, if I'm going to promote a site, if one sponsor gives me banners and the other doesn't, I'll promote the one that does more than the other. My time is better spent building more traffic than designing banners etc.Comment

Sorry to disappoint the designers however it is true that a well written text link properly positioned on the page will outperform a banner any day of the week... ESPECIALLY in a small niche.
