i put some on my new Saab about a month ago, what a difference!! like night and day in the snow/ice - LM-22's... still low profile, so I didn't have to switch out my 17 inch rims. anyone else riding blizzaks this winter? killer winter tire IMO.

I have an Infiniti G35. I bought some LM-22's 17inch and put them on a spare set of 17" rims I bought sepcifically for the winter....they work like magic. Getting rid of the G35 and moving to warmer climates.
Anyone want some 17" Blizzaks with some nice rims with only 500 miles on them ??? hahaha★★★

I was going to buy some blizzaks for my Infiniti M45 Sport but my tire guy told me that blizzaks are mostly marketing (sorry Quiet don't mean to talk shit about your tires LOL). He recommended the Michelin X-Ice's over the Blizzaks.
I don't know shit about tires but these ones are pretty damn good so far.

all i know is that the fuckers grip insane. i did the back roads of highway 99 (lilloet to pemberton) in blizzard conditions, and the car was glued to the road. i wager that all winter tires are mostly marketing ;). the saab guys recommended blizzaks, and i really wanted to keep my 17 inch wheels, since i won't be driving the saab much at all in the summer, i didn't want to put some ugly winter rims on it. would sort of defeat the purpose.Originally posted by DrinkingHARDERI was going to buy some blizzaks for my Infiniti M45 Sport but my tire guy told me that blizzaks are mostly marketing (sorry Quiet don't mean to talk shit about your tires LOL). Just put on a set of 18's...it was the same price to go 18" rubber as it was to go 17" and new rims.
I guess the deal is with the blizzaks is that they contain multiple compounds in the rubber. the outermost part is a nice soft 'grippy' material that rocks on snow and ice. It then moves to a harder, more all season compoudn beyond that (50%) i think.
The dealer i bought from was mixed as well; he said they were great for the first 50%, then they were pretty much a regular all season tire. My lease is up next year, so these will give me plenty of wear till then.
Sure beats the Z-rated 'racing slicks' i had for the few late snowfalls last year...The Evolution of Free sites.

that's funny. i just put some 235/45/17 LM-22's on my Evolution about 3 weeks ago.
i've only been able to test them once in the snow so far. figures as soon as i get them it warms up.
but holy shit i love those tires.
