A while back there was a charity logo contest for a non-profit animal shelter DreamLand. I'm positive you'll know what I'm talking about, but here was my entry incase you forgot:

I'm not sure it was started by the same person.

It could have been started here by this P3rsian fellow who took credit for the work done on this board. The search feature is down, obviously, so no way to find it as of now..

I thought about this but he seems to take the credit or at least not refute it whenever someone gives him a compliment. If he had I wouldn't have thought twice.

I knew something was fishy right from the start so I typed in dreamlandanimalrescue.com and there I went, straight to their site. At first I thought he was trying to resell.

So I mailed the owners (Stephanie and Gary) and told them about this.A quote from the mail of our e-mail correspondance:

"That is interesting how that guy p3rsin was taking credit for your work, i'll watch out if i see him posting again. Photoshop format would be great, I should be able to recieve an attachment of that size with no problem. If it bounces back from my address because of the size can you sent it to my husbands gmail address XXXXXX"

While I do have to say p3rsian did not actually rip us designers off for money, he didn't reply in the thread he made any more. That was pretty unprofessional if you ask me.

So I mailed the owners of the site the source files and they have it up on their site now:

i hardly think of someone as a scammer because they posted a thread saying they need a logo for a friend for free for an animal shelter and then they went and posted them on a site, but didn't claim to have designed them and didn't even remove the watermark that gave the designers site from one of them. i hardly think of that as a being a scammer, waste your time on something better you fucking loser.
