                  So this year they schedule against AVN/CES so anybody with sense skips it, and next year it's about 4 weeks before Phoenix? Are they trying to kill Internext for tax purposes or something? What's next, moving it to Christmas Day in Fargo, North Dakota?

                                  They haven't fucked around with show dates in years. January and August, January and August. The only problem this year is what day New Years fell on, and what day CES runs. AEE runs the same time as CES (140,000 potential droolers at the door with $25 in their hands to see the girls) and that isn't going to change.

                                  There was no economical way that the Internext show could have run Monday to Wednesday (like normal) - setup costs would have be outrageous (union shop) and the hotel costs would not have been any lower than they are now.

                                  But no, the show dates have not moved for a long time. Getting out of Vegas in January is a good thing. March is maybe not the best time, but there ya go.

                                  First change of dates (for January) in a long, long time.
