                    Everyone once in a while but hey, a quick rummage through a trash can might yield somthing through probability.

                    Mainstream yields over 4k for a logo and back in the day ya could do them for 10k even more...

                                                                                    many people would love to make $100 for a simple banner ...we are not asking for miracles...just a simple idea of a banner...we pay $35-50 max for 468x60 banners now....so $100 for something similar is great or we would prefer to give away $250 worth of content....

                                                                                    i dont think this is a bad deal at all...and i have see some decent ones here already....hell maybe i might be nice to those who are nice and respectfull and give away a prize to a few people...but those who just love talking shit or bitching....just wont get too far in this industry....will always stay small....

                                                                                                                                                        I am in no oppostion to Raphi here at all, well the only thing that slightly irritates me tis sad to see "Designer's" claw and bust for a lousy 100.00 bucks.

Its silly. Raphi aint the first guy to do it, its a history of many folks doing these sort of contests.
                                                                                                                                                        Lensman oughta require a minimum amount for any contest to be thrown down on these boards cuz the bottom line is promotional and all I see are poor struggling designers jumping into the fray all at there expense as a laughing disposable stock in the industry.

                                                                                                                                                        So I read in to a little more its a sweet promo for World Wide COntent. Not bad, I done my fair of share drama for it here and the result is worth more than 100.oo.

                                                                                                                                                        The Peon's do not see the game so I have a rather hard time pointing it out.

                                                                                                                                                        I am a hard mother fucking teacher, but in a class full of morons it aint easy putting the writing on the wall when I need to bring a chisel andput it to there foreheads with a hammer.

                                                                                                                                                        Take my logo, it's free I really do not give a shit. It's a hundred bucks. Big deal, there are bigger fish to fry in the design game and the sad thing is all these so called designer's do not see what is before them and the position they hold and value of there work.

                                                                                                                                                                    for some ppl (like me) 100 bucks is a real good money (I pays my monthly fees) and as I am not talented in desing I decided to give it a try...maybe it makes no diference for you but it is more than I receive on on month on my day job....(on which I work 20 hours per week)...I am only starting on the adult biz...so for me that would be a very good deal...

                                                                                                                                                                                            Lensman oughta require a minimum amount for any contest to be thrown down on these boards cuz the bottom line is promotional and all I see are poor struggling designers jumping into the fray all at there expense as a laughing disposable stock in the industry.

Not bad, I done my fair of share drama for it here and the result is worth more than 100.oo.

It's a hundred bucks. Big deal, there are bigger fish to fry in the design game and the sad thing is all these so called designer's do not see what is before them and the position they hold and value of there work.

                                                                                                                                                                                            its a simple contest request....15 minutes to do a logo and $100 cash given away... whats with all the drama....you spending all this time replying to this thread , you could have design 3 logos :-)

                                                                                                                                                                                                    Yes Designers are not given enough credit for the work they put into some of the products they produce and alot of the time I think...wow, my design made that guy so much cash....But THE REAL PLAYERS KNOW HOW VALUEABLE A GOOD DESIGNER IS

                                                                                                                                                                                                    So if you dont like it you can make a stand...which you did...and I think thats great and I support it. there should be more money for stuff like this...but if a designer makes a choice regardless of his/her personal situation to make a design for a cheaper design contest, then you shouldnt go jumpin on them like they are a scab
