Why would a sponsor put a "stop payment" on a check?

I had a measly $80 check from Bangbros, and the bank told me there was a stop payment put on it today. Yes, I emailed them already. Was just wondering if anyone else ever run into this?

The customer may have charged back after it was sent. Maybe they thought your account was fradulent. Maybe it was a bank error. Could be alot of things

We only do it if an affiliate says he never got his check, so we can stop that check and re-issue another one.

I had the same thing happen with BB last week. Emailed a few days ago, haven't heard anything yet.

Account sure as hell wasn't fraudulent. If conversions from trial were poor or there was chargebacks you'd think they would just ask me to use the partnership program instead, or ask me to stop promoting them or something. Hopefully just a bank error.

Somebody said something the other day about a bounced check? Sounds like somebody in accounting made a few mistakes. I'm positive they'll rectify the situation.

              that fucking sucks!
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
