    Could somebody tell me what is wrong here?

    I started out promoting a new sponsor because i think they got a good and solid new program, icoocash.
    Made only 4 galleries so far but traffic to the galleries is starting out good according to webalizer stats, here they are:

    Dec 2004 18366 hits
    Nov 2004 26993 hits

    Total of 44 thousand hits, not that many but not bad either, knowing i just started out and only made 4 MGP galleries so far.

    Everything ok so far BUT i only got 12 hits to the sponsor total.

    I'm not trying to bash icoocash, i'm sure they are solid but i'm asking for a little help. Are my gallery designs just not good enough? Text link needs to be changed? I'm sure the problem is on my end, not icoocash, again, they are solid.

                      Are you sure you're not confusing unique hits to the page with hits to the stuff that's actually downloaded: spacer.gifs, images, html files, etc ?

                          Your gallery has only one advertiser. You get 44K hits and only 12 of them have clicked to your sponsor? no way

                                  Don't think so, i'm counting referrers and also counting hits to the index pages, not the total hits.

                                      Just curious. I accidently mistook webalizer hits one day to mean unique visitors. I then cried to realize what I thought was 40,000 visitors was really only 400.

                                          hehehe, can happen. Well, i got about 9 thousand from the highest referrer so don't think i misscounted. Richards realm for example is one of my main referrers and he usually gives me good quality traffic.

                                              With new sponsors, its a good idea to track your out hits and compare them with the stats

                                                  I think that my original response was the most correct and valuable.

                                                  Either your'e sending pre-school kid traffic from McDonald's wonderland to it, or your sponsor/link is screwing you.

                                                      Actually i'm on richards realm again now, http://richards-realm.com/movpages/ 25th place of todays links, this should generate some good quality traffic.

                                                          My basic question is, is the gallery any good, should it generate me some sponsor clicks/sales? Is the text link good, etc..... ?
