Fender and washburn have some decent low priced ones. and
www.Samash.com sells Carlo Robelli guitars and they are real cheap. I dont know how those hold up but they do play nice.
The key thing is to get one that plays decent so you dont get discouraged fighting the damn thing all the time.
Carvin also has some cheap ones called the Cobalt series. They start out at $359.00 and Carvin makes some good gear....
