LOL damn what a night. Had to go to the ER because that thing swelled up about 4x's the original size in about 2 hours and redness started spreading down my finger past my middle knuckle.
So I was in the ER for about 4 hours last night, they cut the thing open and drained it. Dear God talk about painful.
They started with injecting lydocaine right into the infection and that hurt like hell. My finger was numb for all about 15 seconds. The doctor started cutting and it didn't hurt then all of a sudden bam don't know why but the numbness just disappeared and I felt all that cutting and it hurt like a mother fucker.
Doctor couldn't understand why...he just said "I guess those tissues are just real angry right now." LOL
Finger hurt like a bitch all night, no pain killers of course. Just antibiotics.
He said that the nail and skin area had become seperated and bacteria *probably from my cold visurs* got up inside and created a staph infection.
I'm just wondering what's next...LOL
