i have been with my current (jewish) gf for almost a year. She is the cheapest person I ever met. Never fucken even offers. When she gets up in the am she goes into my money to buy herself coffee. Here's the sad part-- she makes 60k a year and gets 3k a month from her x husband. Her cheapness makes me hate her and I will be done with her within a few weeks. this is a really sensitive issue, everybody has a different opinion on it. For me, I will always offer and say thank you, but if I asked someone on a date I will insist on paying, I asked them, my treat.

Guess I'm an asshole though, because the last time that happened I left on a business trip a few days later, and never called her again (this was 6 weeks ago). I still owe her a nice dinner (she spent a good $300 on our dinner).Comment

That is the worst thing you can do is pay your own and make her pay for hers. I have seen it happen many times and I think its so wrong.
