We've been beta testing 6 movie sites for the last few months, both with and, without trailers and we have found that adding a 20 second trailer to the tour for each 'scene' has increased joins tenfold.
The problem is, as we found out, making sure that you tease these freeloaders just enough in that 20 seconds to make them want to whip out their credit cards to get the good stuff.
We're currently using a 20 second clip consisting of 3 or 4 shots from each scene but we dont shot the money shot, we show right the way up to 1 second before the guy blows his load then flash the site logo and start on the next shot.
Get the surfer so worked up that they think they are gonna see the cum fly so that when you cut off the clip right before it does, they actually
NEED to join your site before they can shoot their load themselves
