A japanese course isn't the way to meet japanese girls. It's a great language though, in many ways far more subtle and poetic than english could ever hope to be. Not the easiest thing to learn, considering the structure of the language requires you to think the way Yoda talks. Just don't expect to sweep into the class and expect to be swimming in bishoujo (beautiful girls).
