My parents just called me, they are in africa on a biz trip near Lome (South Africa).
My dad called me telling me that if i saw something on the news about a plain crash i didn't need to worry, they are ok.
I was like "what the hell are you talking about?", apperantly they where on an aircraft that crash landed on the right side of the runway in heavy rain, tail section broke off the fuselage but they where in the front of the plain. According to my dad he saw people being carried out of the tail section that looked very bad, if not dead. It was a small jet, seating 80 people.
Goddamn, makes you think how we gotto be thankfull to live another day.
