The main reason he didn?t get to do Raiders was the schedules of Magnum and Raiders conflicted, it had nothing to do with his contract, they both filmed at the same time and they could not reschedule the time frame for Raiders to wait, so they went with Ford, but then the writers guild went on strike so it turns out he could have done Raiders anyway.
