    OH SHOOT!! I UNSTALLED WINSOCK... damn

    How do I install winsock 2 or something like that BACK? I can't connect to the net from that computer anymore I'm on my laptop now. SHIT

      Try system restore. Not sure if it will bring back delete files, but it's worth a shot.

              Yep, that would be the better option. Try IE re-install if that doesn't work.

                        First time I'm using it.. Before I run it I back up everything on one CD (all the important stuff). You can't trust Microsoft...

                          dont forget system restore is one of the first places viruses hit and infect shit, so you might be rolling back into a worse trojaned PC than you have now
