nuclear weapons don't mean anything anymore.. We already have beam weapons that can emit a concentrated beam that can shoot down most small nuclear missiles. The u.s military believes that within 2 years we will have defensive laser weapons at our disposal that can terminate most nuclear projectile in flight, preventing any direct impact and severely lowering any nuclear fallout other than what might be left in the atmosphere
