You're aren't alone My wife and kids are out of town as well. I have plenty of work to keep me occupied so I will be busy but I will take time out to enjoy some Christmas cheer.

I'll spend the day alone up until about 3ish when the youngest gets back home. Then the oldest is due to roll back in about 4.

I'll sleep, work a little, and watch sports until they come home.

I'll be working on my 2257 stuff, turning my books around for the new year, cleaning and maintaining my gear, updating my note book to use on the road this coming year and woodshed-ing my photography chops . . . next shoot is on wed . . Had lunch with the family yesterday so I'm all clear

I'm alone this year cause I'm in Thailand and all my friends went back to the USA for the holidays. :-( I seem to always be somewhere else for christmas but this is the first time I have been shut out. hahaha I don't mind though, I will chill out and bang a few whores wearing santa caps.

Ever since the commercial retailers starting pushing the holidays...starting in August..every year it feels less and less celebratory....all I seem to see are people who are either raging or out of it......

Even today, as Mom bakes the apple pies and pumpkin pies....it just seems like another day.

On the other hand, I have spent the holidays alone. It is a strange, but not always unwelcome feeling.

I have family comming over for dinner, only reason why, is because I opened my big mouth that the wifes and kids are out of town. But after dinner. Then I will be alone. Kinda sucks in a way. Cause 1. I spend it without my wife and kids. 2. I get the family that hates you or dislikes you cause you work in porn. My father, inlaws, brothers and sister could care less. But my dads girl friend, aunts and uncles dont like the fact I work in porn even tho it pays the bills. Dont think any of my grandparrents know. Or atleast they dont catch on when comments fly. Or say anything thank god. My grandfather is old and old school. He doesnt even know what the internet is, nor what a computer is. But he is 89.

I just hope the ones I don't like to hang out with come late and leave early. Then it will be a peacefull night. Unlike last year when everyone left I was just pissed for a week cause of all the shitty comments everyone makes. bah... Dreading this day. Just getting up and have an hour to prepair for the worse.

going to my uncles tonight like we do every christmas eve. My brother is in town with his two kids. This will be the first time I have spent the holidays with him in over 10 years so thats great. Tomorrow we are going to do Christmas dinner at my house. I hope it goes smoothly, this is the first time I have had my whole family over to my house. A lot of them have not even seen my place.
