i think religion gets in the way of the basic idea to be good and kind to your fellow man.
neary every war throughout history was fought due to differences in religion.
i believe in spirituality. i believe that we are supposed to be good and kind to our fellow man. i do not however, believe in what most people call "god"... i do believe in a higher power of some type though...
my belief is that the bible was given to us from someone or something with a higher understanding of society and humanity... i think the bible is nothing more than an "owners manual" of sorts for mankind... things such as not killing, being monogamous and the like were nothing more than things given to us to ensure the survival of our species...
i think religion fucks up a good idea... the idea that we should all be good people and be kind to each other...
