Networking from behind your pc is way more efficient and cheaper. Find some contacts in your own state first and build from there.
Team up with some local webmasters this coming year and hit Vegas together the next year.

As far as promoting dating I would suggest you to focus on one concept. Slapping all available dating sites on one page is only gonna confuse your visitors. You have to decide what is good for them. It might sound strange but that is what they expect from you (since you are the expert in their eyes).
