Sadly enough, a strike is the only thing that can save my team, the Expos! HA! Sad, the last strike killed us, this one could save us.

Romance? I just want to watch a ball game and have some beer, I don't want to be swept off my feet by Roger Clemens! hehehe, but it lost that whole feel that it used to have. To be honest, at 26yrs of age, I doubt I ever saw a real "glory" time in baseball. I'm a hockey fan first, and I think that in the 80s and early 90s, it was much better than it is now. It's losing that feel as well.

A Plea for Help!

For only $20,835 a month, about $694.50 a day (that's less than the cost of a large screen projection TV) you can help a MLB player remain economically viable during his time of need. This
contribution by no means solves the problem as it barely covers the annual minimum salary, but it's a start, and every little bit will
help!

Although $700 may not seem like a lot of money to you, to a baseball player it could mean the difference between spending the strike golfing in Florida or on a Mediterranean cruise. For you, seven hundred dollars is nothing more than a month's rent, half a mortgage payment, or a month of medical insurance, but to a baseball player, $700 will partially replace his daily salary.

Your commitment of less than $700 a day will enable a player to buy that home entertainment center, trade in the year-old
Lexus for a new Ferrari, or enjoy a weekend in Rio.

I grew up steeped in the love of baseball. From afternoons on the dusty fields, to evenings on the couch watching my heros battle eachother for the title of champion...baseball was more than an excuse to drink be...like I need an excuse. All I'm saying is from that first strike to today my love and admiration has turned to shame and disgust as I watched a truly wonderful thing become a money tainted circus.

If they do this, Hank Williams Jr. is waiting in the wings ready to wail, "Are you ready for some football?"

A money tainted circus... That would never happen to our beloved adult industry. I don't do it for the money (my bank statement can prove that real fast), I do it for the love of naked women. It makes me all warm and snuggly to think that because of my efforts, more women are taking their clothes off for the good of society.

Fellow webmasters, let us learn from MLBs mistakes. Let's not get too greedy. <b>Let's put a salary cap on the models! </b> Let's not get killed in the future, don't be a Steinbrenner. Pay as little as you can for a chick to take her clothes off. She'll just have to do more shoots to make the money!
