So many young kids do. As was pointed out to me several times when my son died, they just don't comprehend what a permanent solution it is to temporary problems

ugh - even when you don't know the people when you hear of somebody young killing themselves it breaks your heart.
can't imagine being the dad on that airplane headed to Tampa this morning. some kids that age just can't see the forest through the trees - they see no way out and nothing ever getting better and give up - which of course isn't true but getting that through to some is pretty much impossible. the ones who talk alot about doing themselves in and are overly dramatic usually are crying for help and don't want to commit suicide - it's the quiet brooding ones who keep most of it inside who end up dead.

It hasnt been ruled a suicide yet people are jumping to conclusions.
Those campus apartments are in a shady area at best and I leaning more towards murder or overdose.

I'm in Tampa and ALL OF THE local radio stations report in collaboration with the H.C.S.O. and say that it's suicide. He got into a fight with his girlfriend, she left, he hung himself with a belt, she came back to work it out and found him.

It was suicide. No one is jumping to conclusions.

Yeah, it's terrible news. He was one of the most respected people in Tampa when he coached here (hell, he is still one of the most loved and respected).
