Good to hear ya' ended up with no alimony. That can seem to last an eternity - so I hear.
Not when you're rich budy ;) You've got too much money ... the lawyers can't make this last years either.

it's not that hard of a concept, stop preaching about prenups now that kanye west made a song about it..
when you are in love enough that you get married, the last thing on your mind that you think is possible is that you will have a bitter divorce... obviously it is a good thing to get a prenup, but did you really need to ask why he didn't? isn't it obvious?

here the thing - if i was to get married again would I ask for a prenup? NO - but i probally would back out and think she didn't really love me for me if SHE didn't ask me to put one in place.
if i married a woman with more money than me I would DEMAND a prenup if we were to get married.
next time around I expect to be with someone who can step up to the plate

Its not obvious to me, since the divorse rate in this country is 50%+ (50% chance your marriage will fail), i would be thinking about prenup a lot if i ever get married.

and the person who gets ___________ always thought that getting __________ could never happen to them.. that it would happen to someone else, but not to them

I'd love to hear that conversation you have with your fiance when you bring up the topic of a prenup. So lets say your wife to be has a lot more wealth than you do going into the marriage, you still going to push for a prenup?
"WTF, on google you can find the answer to every question in human history, EXCEPT how to convert cams..

Let's just say a prenup isn't the most romantic thing just before marriage. If you get engaged, that'S most likely because you want to live your life with the other person.

i think a prenup is VERY ROMANTIC - assuming the poorer partner brings it up and demands it. not the richer one.
that proves to the one with more money the marriage is for love and the right reasons.

I recently did a prenup and it sucks. You get to do a mini divorce before you are married. Simple advice if you ever have to do one, be really generous. Without one you get fucking hammered so even having a slanted one is 1000 times better.

Maybe part of the reason the divorce rate is so high is because people think they can just leave with it gets difficult.
Congrats ! Now hire somebody to shoot the bitch, she must still have you in her papers ... you'll get your $ back

If you are making 100 million a year and get married and get a prenup, then after you are married you start making 150 million a year, guess what? the prenup only protects what you had and what were making on average. She is getting 50% of that 50 million/year

Exactly, and share everything you have with that person as well.
