    BIG Surf Hitting San Diego...

    ...today and tomorrow. I paddled out last night at Fletcher's Cove and there was lot of water moving around. Probably only 5-6ft, but I took a few beatings. If you live in the San Diego area, get out to the beach and check this stuff out.

    I'm hoping La Jolla Cove is breaking this year. Lots of people line up on the cliffs and watch guys dropping into some big surf. Kind of a mush burger after the drop, but the drop is fun watching these surfers out there.

              up to 18 feet on wednesday morning here...i'm just hoping my cliff doesn't disappear, i rather like where i live. :P flood watch goes into affect that day.

                                          Dropping in on the Wedge is merely a daredevil stunt, the reality is that the wave shape is not conducive for a standup surfer.

                                          Great surfers are able to go to a place such as Huntington Beach on a 3 foot day and carve the wave 30 yards.

                                                                                                                  Man, what a day of surf. The Cove was HUGE. At least 100 surfers out. It was BIG WEDNESDAY.
