    How large is your immediate family?

    On holidays like Thanksgiving, do you have lots of relatives show up or is it just you, or just mom, dad, sibling?

    Maybe just girlfriend or friends?

                  Well...we used to have big gatherings for each holiday...my mom, 3 siblings and their spouses and children. Then my mom passed away and my siblings haven't spoken to me since...so it is just hubby and the kids now.

                                      My mother was her parents' 11th kid, and my father was like #7 or something in his family. When my grandparents celebrated their 50th anniversary, several hundreds of family members showed up, and that was just one side of my family (incidently, the smallest one).

                                                  There's my mom and stepdad, my sister and brother & their spouses (I'm the oldest of 3), my brother and sister have 3 girls each, one of those is with an ex, which brings his current wife and their kid, one niece's boyfriend and my grandmother. Sometimes my sister-in-law's parents and sister come and various friends of nieces.

                                                  About 20 on an average holiday.

                                                          thanksgiving at my house was crazy. i counted all my cousins one time, it was like 30. my mom had 8 brothers/sisters.
