    Thinking of turning my TGPs back into topsite List

    I swear it seems that I had better conversions and higher quality traffic when I ran topsite list.

    I switched to TGPs because many TGP wouldn't trade traffic with topsite list. I find that the traffic sent to my TGP from a topsite list is way more productive than from TGP's.

    When I ran topsite list I traded with a bunch of small sites that only had a few galleries maybe this is better traffic.

      Hmm, wonder if anyone noticed the same thing. We never did topsite list, would be willing to try it though. But the conversions with our TGP is pretty good.

          Did you use text only top sites or thumbs?

              I used text only; but I allowed HUGE descriptions.

              I don't think text or thumbs matter as long as descriptions are accurate. Surfers just keep clicking on your link if what they read matches where you send them.

                  of course toplist traffic would be better becouse it's clicked traffic and not skimmed.

                      Not only is it clicked but the surfer actually reads the descripton and becomes interested in the site before clicking.

                      But a lot of topsites were popup hell so maybe this is why a lot of TGP would not trade with them.

                      The first topsite I ever got traffic from was interracialindex.com and that was good traffic. I made money with only a few hundred hits a day.

                                                  Some more info on how I ran toplist:

                                                  I also had galleries on my toplist so that surfers could view some content, but only about 20 to 50 galleries(mostly 20).
                                                  And I required that sites trading with me had at least eight pics on the site. Surfers don't want to click on your links just to see another list of sites without pics.

                                                  I also had about 4 thumbs at the top leading to either galleries or a paysite.

                                                  This may have made some difference.

                                                  I figure I can get some bookmarks by updating a few galleries since the toplist sites don't change that much.

                                                      That's what I would recommend. You may still be able to get some trades from TGP's this way also.

                                                          That's the way I'm seeing it also, but I was attracted to the large volume of traffic that TGPs get so I went that way.
                                                          I got loads of traffic but I never made more money.
                                                          In fact my money has been going down ever since I made the switch. I just wasn't ready to blame it all on TGP traffic because it could have been slow for any traffic because of economy, war, competition...etc.
