wtf? outlaw the "possession" of computer virii? people who have them usually don't know that they do.

also, they really have no idea how hard it is to track back into 6-month old logs. im sure alot of smaller sized isps don't even have logs this old, due to size.

That is funny. They are just using terrorism as an excuse so the public will buy into this scheme. Their real intention is more like being able to go after financial fraud and drug trafficking.
