Fact is, and I'm not talking about 4-5 galleries not getting listed, I'm talking about many thousands. Many! Not one of them has been listed with the AskJolene recip. But many times the same gallery has been listed with recips to other tgps.
So it's pretty obvious what they're doing - deny it as vehemently as you want, i couldn't care less. I just feel pity for those wasting their time submitting there. I ditched the free submit ages ago - any fool with a little experience can see what's going on. It's the same as a load of other tgps: backlink harvesting.
That said, I have nothing against AskJolene. Their paid submissions might be worth it but their free submissions are definitely a big waste of time  |
After you have submitted your galls to Ask Jolene, it takes about a day (or 2?) before they will be in their listings. If their spider crawls the same galls with other recips elsewhere before that period, the crawled galls will be listed. That way they avoid that the same galls are listed.
So I don't share the conclusion on backlink harvesting.
Any fool with a little Search Engine experience should know that links/galls aren't listed over and over again.
