    Has anyone had a reiki massage?

    A friend was telling me about this type of massage called reiki. It sounds pretty crazy, its all about releasing energy and stress through touch. The administrator does nothing but touch you and move their hands based on the energy they feel. I don't know, sounds pretty crazy... but crazy enough to spark my interest, haha. Its worth a shot.

    Anyone here of these or try it?

      One of my models does that. When she's here to shoot every few months, she does it, and it is really relaxing - helps me out w/ my migraines, which I have had to deal with for like 25 years...

      It's pretty interesting. However, be aware it's more of a "culty/witchcraft" type thing, as far as the ones who do it are concerned.

      I don't care what the fuck it is, if it helps my damn migraines!

                              my ex (ex, ex) girlfriend used to be involved in something like that. it's call theraputic touch (TT) it's all about energy vibe, etc. i never bought into it, though it was enjoyable when she did it to me.

                                  Yeah, supposedly this is great to have done. A lot of cancer patients are doing this type of thing becasue it's less harsh on their body then haveing someone press and push your bones around like at the chiropractor(sp)


                                  The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
