If you want to clear credit cards there are several options...
(1) get a merchant account.
I would only get a merchant account if you are over 10K in transaction volume per month. The no 1. company for that would be Netbilling without a doubt.
(2) get setup with a 3rd party processor
Good option but can be fairly expensive, percentage wise. Check out CCBill and Paycom
(3) Look into ePassporte
Good alternative... it is a setup similar to paypal...Comment
