    New flu expected to kill millions

    Check this out - there's a new bird flu that they're expecting is going to kill millions of people, and they won't have a shot for it until March at the earliest.

                                                                                              Me thinks I smell an exaggeration, the desire for people to be afraid. Remember that terrible SARS epidemic, there was only a 98% survival rate, and this will be worse with only a 99.97% survival rate!

                                                                                                                          True I know AIDS supposedly started in Africa and there are no doubt many new viruses (and cures) hiding in the Amazon.

                                                                                                                          But the most likely place for a new human virus to emerge and propagate is in an area that has the most humans and overall poor health living close to animals etc.
